Philadelphia Adventures

On Labor Day 2010 I went on a magical adventure of dirt and trash through Philadelphia with my parents. We ventured out early in the morning to embark on a seven hour mission, resulting in 238 pictures and an empty gas tank. We started our day by roaming up and down Kelly Drive. Taking pictures of rowers, drawing picnickers, proceeding to freak out picnickers who realized I was drawing them. From there we headed to the art museum, were I snapped images of tourists running up the steps and then turned around to snap one of city hall down the Avenue of Flags. We then headed to City Hall and south on Broad to the Sports Complexes, just in time to be stopped by Phillies traffic. Taking a loop back north, we stopped at Ikea, where I had a view of the SS United States at port. After sketching and taking a few more photos, we headed to Geno's and Pat's, where I got a Geno's pork sandwich. (not a big cheesesteak fan) Then we passes through Old City before hitting the slums. We then found ourselves in the Northeast, where we stopped at the Linden Boat Ramp. We sat on the rocks before taking Route 13 back into Bensalem, where we stopped to get Rita's.
